My first love is teaching, and my Bachelor's degree was in General Science with a teaching certificate.  I did my student teaching in 7th Grade Life Science (and loved it!).  I also acquired my Master's degree in School Administration.  After changing states, I couldn't find a secondary school science teaching job.  I saw a job ad listing "propeller-heads wanted" and I became an applications instructor at New Horizons of Beaverton, Oregon, teaching Windows, Office, and Web Development.  Through my database knowledge, I was able to begin teaching technical classes, certifying in NT 4.0, and have continued in the technical training arena ever since, developing skills in servers, desktops, networking infrastructure, security, and SharePoint web applications.  Though I am engaged in full-time employment as a technical trainer, I enjoy the opportunity to “get my hands dirty” in that abyss of wire and worry known as the corporate network.  So, if you have a short-term project or planning component that you need some high powered assistance with, let me know!
